Monday Night Football means nothing for the Green Bay Packers.
The San Francisco 49ers were able to hold on against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday 23-17, sending them to Lambeau Field on Saturday for its game against the Green Bay Packers. The NFL later announced the game would take place at 7:15 p.m.
The 49ers have had the upper hand on the Packers in recent playoff history. In 2019, Jimmy Garoppolo only threw the ball three times but Raheem Mostert ran for 220 yards as the 49ers won 37-20. Colin Kaepernick led the 49ers to a pair of playoff wins earlier in the decade, compiling approximately 800 yards of total offense in the process. The last playoff win for the Packers against the 49ers was a Brett Favre-led 25-15 win in 2001 at Lambeau Field.
The Packers have won the last two games in the series, including a 30-28 victory in San Francisco earlier this season.
