The Green Bay Phoenix men continue their homestand Thursday night when they welcome Detroit Mercy to the Resch Center.
The Phoenix should be in better shape roster wise this week after health and safety protocols trimmed their team to just seven players for a squad that rotates a few more players than that. They were able to beat IUPUI on Thursday, but ran tired in its lost against UIC.
The Titans have lost their last two conference games by a combined four points after jumping out to a 3-0 start in the Horizon League with wins over IUPUI (69-45), UIC (64-56), and Milwaukee (85-60). The two teams did not meet earlier this year when the Phoenix were dealing with COVID-19 issues within the program.
Thursday's game begins at 7 p.m.
