Phoenix men become full against Detroit-Mercy

The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team had its full roster and it showed in their 70-63 win over Detroit-Mercy Thursday night at the Resch Center.

The Phoenix led almost the entire game until the Titans' Antoine Davis hit a three-pointer to take the lead. In other games this season, that is when the Phoenix would have folded. Instead, Donovan Ivory led the comeback where his own three-pointer with just over six minutes left to put the Phoenix up for good. The sophomore transfer put up all 13 of his points in the second half while Cade Meyer led the Phoenix with 16 points. Davis led all scorers with 25 points in the loss for Detroit, which will have to wait until next year for its first win at Green Bay in a decade.

The Phoenix are back in action on Saturday when they play Oakland. The game has been moved to a noon start at the Kress Center due to the Packers game.
