Middleton lifts Bucks over Kings

The Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night but lacked Giannis Antetokounmpo as he was out due to right knee soreness. The Bucks offense caught fire in the second quarter and they took a 62-54 lead into the halftime break. The second half was controlled by the Bucks but the Kings did have runs that made the game close as they would end up losing 133-127.

Khris Middleton stepped up in the Giannis absence and posted a game leading 34 points. Other top scorers for the Bucks included Jrue Holiday (26), Donte Divencenzo (20), George Hill (17), Pat Connaughton (15), and Jordan Nwora (10).

The Bucks will be off until Wednesday when they will return to face the Cavaliers in Cleveland.
