For the second time this month, the Green Bay Gamblers had to go an extra period to get a win against the Muskegon Lumberjacks, this time by a final score of 5-4.
Ryan Greene opened the game with a goal before the Lumberjacks answered the tally with two scores of their own. Jackson Hallum made sure the game was tied at two at the end of the first period with his 20th goal of the season. Cameron Lund opened the scoring in the second period in the opening minutes before the Lumberjacks tied the game with four minutes left. It was the same script in the third period when Brody Lamb scored for the Gamblers only to be answered just over a minute later. The crowd of over 4,000 did not need to wait long for a winner as Greene scored his second goal of the game to send the home crowd happy. Greene and Hallum each had four points in the game while the game-winning goalie Rastislav Elias stopped 35 of 39 shots.
