The Kewaunee boys’ basketball team traveled to Gibraltar to take on the Vikings in a Saturday conference matchup. 

The Vikings got out to a hot start taking a 5 point lead halfway through the first half. From there the Storm would turn the tides as they would use a full court press to generate turnovers from the Vikings and convert defense into offense to take a double digit lead into the half time break. In the second half Kewaunee was still firing on all cylinders offensively, shooting well from beyond the arc, and was using their physicality to make Gibraltar commit unforced turnovers and that would ultimately help them win the game by a final score of 62-41. 

Gibraltar has some time off before they take on Algoma on Thursday, and Kewaunee will face Valders in a non-conference game on Tuesday.
