Phoenix women finally get their home game

A cancellation in the eleventh hour may be the only way the Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team are denied their first home game since December 20th when they host Youngstown State on Thursday.

COVID-19 ruined the last several chances at home games for the Phoenix, though they have been strong on the road in the meantime. They gritted through two wins last weekend against defending league champion Wright State Raiders 73-51 and 67-58 win over Northern Kentucky, who was in the middle of a 10 game winning streak at the time. The Penguins come into the game as the league's best team at 11-1 in the Horizon League. The Phoenix lost to the Penguins in Ohio in December 67-58, which was only the fifth time that has happened in the series' history.
