The Green Bay Gamblers' offense stalled against the Chicago Steel in its 3-1 loss Friday night.
After a scoreless first period, Matt Deboer got the Gamblers on the board first with a goal from John Mittelstadt nine minutes into the second period. The Steel would score two unanswered goals, including the eventual game-winner from Sam Lipkin to start off the third period. An empty netter gave the Steel its final margin of victory.
The Gamblers are back at the Resch Center and on 104.1 WRLU Saturday night when they welcome Cedar Rapids to town. Near the bottom of the division, the RoughRiders are 3-6-0-1 in their last 10 games.
