Phoenix men see road woes continue, women welcome Robert Morris

The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team just can't get a break on the road as they fell 85-69 to Cleveland State Friday night.

The Vikings shot 64 percent from the field to get past the Phoenix, including 56 percent from behind the arc. Nate Jenkins made the most of his first start of the season, scoring a team-high 19 points in 36 points. Manny Ansong and Cade Meyer chipped in 17 apiece in the loss.

The Phoenix women look to make it four wins in a row when they welcome Robert Morris on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. The women are coming off a thrilling one-point, double-overtime victory over Youngstown State on Thursday. The Colonials lost 68-48 to Milwaukee on Thursday in the first leg of their swing through Wisconsin.
