The Southern Door boys’ basketball team took a trip to Sevastopol on Friday night to take on the Pioneers in a Packerland Conference contest. 

Southern Door got out of the gates hot as they scored the first 10 points of the game before Sevastopol could get on the board. From there they would keep building their double digit lead to take a 42-19 lead into the halftime break led by Jared Hawkey with 17 first half points. Southern Door would not look back in the second half, outscoring the Pioneers by 15 and walking away with a 80-42 win over the Pioneers. 

Drew Daoust led the Eagles with 28 and Jared Hawkey added 23. Sevastopol was led by Franklin Ash with 13 and Tommy Giblin added 10.
