Gibraltar boys looks to keep momentum against Oconto on 105.1 The GOAT

The Gibraltar boys' basketball team will look to win their third game in a row and their fourth in five games when they host Oconto on Monday.

The Vikings won consecutive games last week when they beat Algoma 61-50 on Thursday and busted through against NEW Lutheran 79-60 the next night in Green Bay. Sam Lindenberg led Gibraltar with 21 points and Jake Schar added 18 of his own in the matchup against the Blazers, who are ranked in the top 5 in Division 5 in the state.

The Blue Devils have struggled in 2022, winning only twice in 10 games since January 4th. They did break a three-game losing streak with a 61-47 win over Algoma on Friday. Kadin Baxter leads the Blue Devils in scoring at over 17 points a game and Luke Krueger is averaging a double-double a game with 12.4 ppg/11 rpg.

Tim Kowols and Tanner DeGrave will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 7 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening tip at 7:30 p.m.

Other boys' basketball games on the schedule for Monday include Luxemburg-Casco hosting Little Chute, Southern Door hosting Two Rivers, Kewaunee playing at home against NEW Lutheran, and Sevastopol traveling to Sturgeon Bay. Algoma's game will now be played Tuesday.
