The Gibraltar boys' basketball team hopes to keep their winning streaking rolling when they travel to Peshtigo on Thursday night for a return to Packerland Conference action.
Gibraltar's Sam Lindenberg was a one-man wrecking crew with 38 points in the team's 78-47 victory over Goodman-Pembine on Tuesday. After a three-game losing streak, the Vikings have won five of their last six games including the last four in a row.
The Bulldogs currently sit on top of the Packerland Conference with a 10-2 record and an overall mark of 15-4. Led by Landon Lemke's 14 points per game, the Bulldogs have gone 5-3 in their last eight contests including a 66-42 win over Algoma on Tuesday.
Other boys' basketball games include Southern Door holding their senior night celebration against Sturgeon Bay on 104.1 WRLU, Luxemburg-Casco visiting Freedom, Sevastopol hosting Algoma, and Kewaunee playing at Oconto. The Spartans play beginning at 7 p.m. while the Packerland Conference games are set to tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
