Phoenix flounder on the road against Milwaukee

The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team saw a 10 point lead disappear quickly late in the second half and went on to lose to the Milwaukee Panthers.

The Panthers chipped away at the lead early in the second half, but they would hold the Phoenix without a field goal for over nine minutes and go on their own 19-0 run to flip the game in their favor. It ruined a special performance by Cade Meyer, who scored a team-high 18 points. Nate Jenkins added 15 points and Kamari McGee registered six in their return to their old stomping grounds.

The Phoenix will host Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday at 7 p.m. and Cleveland State on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Kress Events Center for their final two home games of the season.
