There will be plenty of familiar faces at the Waukesha South High School Natatorium for the WIAA Division 2 State Swim Meet.
The Door County United Swim Team will be featured in eight different events on Friday. Its 200-yard medley relay is seeded in the eighth lane in the first heat with a time of 1:46. Ethan Almstadt is in familiar straits in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:52. Jacob Norton's 22.57 was quick enough for the seventh spot in the 50-yard freestyle. The 200-yard freestyle relay is seeded sixth in the first heat with a time of 1:32.16. Drew Rass is seeded second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03. Norton will appear in the same event but in the seventh lane in the second heat with a time of 1:01. The 400-yard freestyle relay will be in the second lane of the first heat thanks to a time of 3:28.
DC United's efforts were good for fourth place overall at the Ashwaubenon Sectional on Saturday as they scored 219 points.
