Gibraltar girls host Algoma on 105.1 The GOAT

The Gibraltar girls hope to string victories together for the first time this season on Thursday when Algoma comes to Fish Creek on Thursday.

It started with their first victory on Tuesday when the Vikings had a huge weight lifted off their collective shoulders on Monday night with a 53-36 triumph over Sturgeon Bay. Mikayla Gorham sparkled in the first half on her way to a 26 point evening for the Vikings.

The Wolves beat Sturgeon Bay in convincing fashion themselves last Friday, holding the Clippers to just two first-half points en route to a 58-20 victory. Halle Panger led the Wolves in scoring with 11 points, but all 13 players on their roster scored at least one point in the victory.

It was Sierra Slaby's 15 points that led the Wolves to a 48-27 win over the Vikings on January 15th. Andie Schar led the Vikings with 14 points in the defeat.

The game will air on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 7:00 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening tip at 7:30 p.m.

Other Packerland Conference games scheduled for Thursday include Sevastopol traveling to Oconto, Kewaunee hosting Sturgeon Bay for senior night, and Southern Door visiting NEW Lutheran.
