The Gibraltar Vikings girls' basketball team played great in the first half only to see it slip away in the second half in their 60-37 loss at Coleman Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings were only down five at the break, but the Cougars outscored them 33-15 in the second half to coast to the victory. Aubrey Bintz scored 14 and Cameron Zeitler added 11 points to lead the Cougars to victory.
The Vikings will travel to Florence on Tuesday for their first-round matchup in the WIAA Division 5 playoffs.
