Southern Door girls head to Two Rivers for playoff opener on 104.1 WRLU

The Southern Door Eagles girls' basketball team will open their Division 3 tournament play on Wednesday with a trip to Two Rivers.

 

The Eagles have two of their last five games as their young roster has started to gel under first-year interim head coach Taylor Jandrin. Leading scorers Kendra Shimon scored 19 points and Ashlyn Delfosse added 16 in their 53-46 loss to NEW Lutheran last week. The Eagles come into the tournament winners of two of their last five games.

 

The Purple Raiders have lost their five games including a 50-45 decision to Sheboygan Falls last week. Allyson Kakes leads the Purple Raiders with 15 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.'

 

Tim Kowols and Eric Fischer will have the call on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show followed by 7 p.m.
