The Southern Door boys' basketball team will conclude their regular season Thursday night when they welcome NEW Lutheran to the Eagle Gym.
The Eagles' 65-60 win over the Blazers back in January sent the teams in opposite directions. The Blazers went on to lose six of their next 10 games after starting the season undefeated in the Packerland Conference. The Blazers have started to right the ship ahead of their Division 5 playoff run. They beat Sevastopol 78-39 as Tristian Lynch poured in 25 points and Lucas Dhein added 19 points with four three-pointers to his credit.
The Eagles went 7-2 after their win over the Blazers, including a stretch of six straight conference victories. Their Packerland championship dreams took a hit on Monday when they lost to Kewaunee 61-40. Drew Daoust and Taylor Schaefer each scored 12 points in the loss.
