The high school hardwoods were busy on Tuesday night as the WIAA state basketball tournament began for the boys. 

Gibraltar dominated Suring 72-25 in Fish Creek on 105.1 The Goat and will now travel to Goodman/Pembine on Friday.  

 Other area teams saw Algoma lose to Shiocton 68-54 in Division 4 action, and Kewaunee upended Sturgeon Bay at home 67-54 in Division 3. 

Sevastopol dropped their regional quarterfinal to Randolph 78-44. 

The next action will be on Friday night as the advancing teams will play in the regional semi-finals.
