A 2-0 lead was enough for the Green Bay Gamblers as they held off the Chicago Steel 2-1 in Geneva, Ill. Saturday night.

Nicholas VanTassell scored late in the first period to give the Gamblers a 1-0 lead before Cameron Lund doubled the advantage with his own tally five minutes into the second period. Rastislav Elias would give up a goal later in the second period, but nothing after en route to a 33 save evening for the Gamblers.
