Tuesday another deadline for MLB, MLBPA

Road trips to Wrigley Field and Camden Yards and a home series against the Cardinals could be the next to go for the Milwaukee Brewers.

MLB has instituted Tuesday night as a deadline for a deal to not just prevent the second week of games from being canceled, but potentially reinstate the full slate and service time for 2022. According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, the Players' Association will agree to an expanded postseason if the MLB agrees to play a full 162 game schedule. The competitive balance tax, also known as the luxury tax, and the arbitration pool of money remain two other sticking points for both sides.

The Maryvale complex is still keeping busy as the Brewers' minor league players get their workouts in before their seasons start. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers open their season in Grand Chute on April 8th when they host the Peoria Chiefs.
