Two Kewaunee County boys' track teams took home gold in a combined four events while finishing behind first-place Kaukauna at the Earl Hebert Invite hosted by Manitowoc Lincoln on Thursday.
For Luxemburg-Casco, John Larson dominated the hurdles field, grabbing the top times in the prelims and finals for the 55-meter hurdles including a personal record of 8.37 to win the title. Isaac Vandenbush won the long jump with a leap of over 19 feet. He also took ninth in the 55-meter dash with a personal record.
For Kewaunee, the 4 x 800m relay took 1st with a time of 9:07. Cameron Cullen also took second in the 1600m run with a personal record of 4:53. Cole Pawlitzky led the field in pole vault with a height of 11.5 feet.
The Storm girls will take their turn at Manitowoc Lutheran Friday. They will be joined by Chilton, De Pere, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Fond du Lac, Gibraltar, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Manitowoc Lutheran, Mishicot, Ozaukee, Plymouth, Roncalli, Sheboygan Falls, and Two Rivers.
