The peaking Team USA U-18 squad took it to the Green Bay Gamblers on Sunday, winning the game 10-1.
Less than a month out from the 2022 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship in Kaufbeuren and Landshut, Germany, from April 21-May 1, 2022, Team USA put up four goals in the first and third periods on their way to the rout of the Gamblers. Eleven different players scored multiple points for Team USA, led by Charlie Stramel (2G, 1A) and Rutger McGroaty (1G, 3A). Ryan Greene provided the lone highlight for the Gamblers with a second-period goal.
The Gamblers will return home this weekend to face Team USA Friday and Saturday. Both games will be broadcast on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
