The Milwaukee Bucks secured another victory in the closing seconds while Giannis Antetokounmpo made his mark in the franchise's history once again Thursday night.
The Bucks were still in a position to win despite a host of turnovers, including eight from Antetokounmpo and six from Jrue Holiday. The Greek Freak made up for offensive miscues with 44 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists. With that scoring output, Antetokounmpo passed NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then Lew Alcindor) for the most points scored in Bucks history. The clincher was an important bucket as he hit a game-tying three that proved to be important as it forced overtime. The Bucks would go on to outscore the Nets 10-9 in the overtime period to get their 48th win of the season.
