Luxemburg-Casco track captures titles, two local teams in action Friday

Luxemburg-Casco ended their indoor track season with a bang Thursday night as the boys and the girls each won team titles in Seymour.

 

The 4x400m and 4x800m, Samantha Kahr (55m), Madi Bevins (1600m), Michaela Boucher (400m), McKenna Rank (200m, 200m hurdles, high jump), Megan Vandermause (800m),  Emily Ropson (pole vault), Grace Holschuh (triple jump, long jump), and Taylor Thiry (shot put) all won titles for the girls en route to a 156 point evening. Second place Seymour had 42 points.

 

Isaac Vandenbush (55m, long jump), John Larson (55m hurdles, 200m hurdles), Gabe Havel (1600m), and Trevor Beaupre (triple jump) won titles for the boys as they also cracked 100 points. You can find the final results here.

Sevastopol and Kewaunee are heading to UW-Stevens Point Friday for a multi-team meet featuring Spencer, Valley Christian, Adams-Friendship, Suring, Pittsville, Stratford, Loyal, Assumption, Auburndale, Bonduel, Dodgeland, Gresham, Manawa, Necedah, Neillsville, North Fond du Lac, Northland Lutheran, Lourdes Academy, Pacelli, Three Lakes, Tigerton, Laona-Wabeno, Wild Rose, Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Tri-County, New London, Newman Catholic, Almond Bancroft, Iola-Scandinavia, Westfield, and Whitehall. The first events begin at 4 p.m.
