The Green Bay Gamblers could not claw ahead of the Muskegon Lumberjacks in a Sunday matinee at the Resch Center, falling 3-2.
The Lumberjacks registered single tallies in the first and second period before Luke Weilandt and Owen Murray registered goals to tie up the game at 2-2 with under 10 minutes to play. Two minutes after Murray tied it up, Jake Richard scored the game-winner for the Lumberjacks for his third point of the contest (1G, 2A). Aaron Randazzo took his second loss on the weekend, stopping 21 of 24 shots. It was the Gamblers' sixth straight loss.
The Gamblers will play again on Friday at 7:05 p.m. at the Resch Center when they host the Dubuque Fighting Saints. The game will be broadcast on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
