Alexis Olson scored the game's first goal with the assist credited to Scarlett Serafico. The pair would switch roles on the game's second goal to make it 2-0 Clippers at the half. Shawano's Trinity Popelka scored Shawano’s goal, but goalkeeper Drew Starr was able to preserve the win for Sturgeon Bay.
In other soccer action, Luxemburg-Casco looks to secure their first win of the season on Monday when they host Peshtigo at 6:30 p.m. on their home pitch.
