The Green Bay Packers took the first step on Thursday in replacing all-pro Davante Adams by signing wide-out Sammy Watkins. The eight-year veteran receiver played under Coach Matt LeFleur five years ago in Los Angeles when LeFleur was an offensive coordinator for the Rams. According to ESPN, Watkins signed a one-year deal with Packers worth $4 million. Watkins, who played for the Baltimore Ravens last season, has 348 career catches for 5,059 yards and 34 touchdowns. The Packers are in need of receivers in the draft as well, since only Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb are the only experienced receivers returning to the Packers this year.
