Bucks fall to Bulls as series shifts to Chicago

The Milwaukee Bucks were not able to weather the runs made by their southern visitors as the Chicago Bulls took the second game of their first-round series 114-110.

The Bulls started the game with a 9-0 run to start the game and outscored the Bucks 34-21 in the second quarter to stake them to a lead they were able to hold onto until the end. A 15-2 run in the third quarter made things interesting for the Bucks, but they would later lose Khris Middleton to an MCL sprain. Timely three-point shooting by the Bulls put the Bucks at bay from taking the lead again. It was the first playoff victory for the Bulls in five years and the first against Milwaukee in four seasons. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 33 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists while DeMar DeRozan led all scorers with 41 points.

The two teams will take their series to Chicago on Friday.
