The Algoma Wolves' softball team found themselves in a deep hole early in its 6-3 loss to Neenah.
Rylee Fenendael was the pitcher of record, giving up five of the six runs in the first two innings before allowing a single tally in the fourth inning.
Down 6-0 in the fifth inning, the Wolves staged a rally with Olivia Cabino starting things off with a RBI single. Her stolen base allowed Kennedy Neuzil to swipe home before Brooke Mattson's own RBI single scored Cabino.
The loss ended the Wolves' day at the Pulaski Invitational.
