Sevastopol scored the game-winning run in the fifth inning to edge out Southern Door 2-1 to enter the weekend on a winning note.

Libby Ash pitched a complete game to earn the victory for the Pioneers. 

The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday at a tournament in Chilton also featuring Kenosha St. Joseph, Campbellsport, Howards Grove, Mishicot, Plymouth, Stockbridge, Sturgeon Bay, Reedsville, and Wrightstown. 

Kewaunee will head to Denmark to face Shawano and Denmark in consecutive games beginning at 1:45 p.m.

The Luxemburg-Casco softball team defeated the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes in both games of a double header.
