Kewaunee boys, Sturgeon Bay girls capture Packerland track crown

The Sturgeon Bay girls and the Kewaunee boys track teams were the big winners at the Packerland Conference Championships on Monday in Brussels.

 

The Clippers girls scored 143 points, topping second-place Southern Door (123) and third place Gibraltar (83). Cate Anderson swept the hurdles events, Hannah Sternard won every jump event, Andrea Wilke captured the pole vault crown, and the 4x400m relay dominated to pace the Clippers.

 

The Storm boys scored 212 points to beat second-place Southern Door (116) and third place Peshtigo (114). Kewaunee's Ben Heim won the 100m, 200m, and 400m, Cameron Cullen captured the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m titles, and the team swept all four relays.
