The Spartans traveled to Clintonville on a rainy day, returning home victorious with a 9-1 win.

Leading the Spartans in hitting was Owen Deprez 2x4, Cole Jauquet 3x3, and Garrett Simonar 2x3. Ryan Routhieaux was the winning pitcher, and pitched the first 4 innings for the win, and Blake Robillard pitched the last 3. The Truckers only could manage 3 hits on the night. The losing pitcher for the Truckers was Kade Rosenow.

The Spartans travel to Freedom on Saturday with a showdown with the Irish. After a seven-game winning streak, the Irish have lost two of their last three games including a back-end split against Fox Valley Lutheran and Jefferson. First pitch is at 11.

Most of Friday's slate was rained out with some games being played on Saturday and others being made up in the coming days. Southern Door was able to squeeze in a win against NEW Lutheran 12-2. 

Gibraltar and Southern Door will play the second half of their doubleheader on Washington Island with a noon first pitch. The Vikings will try again with Oconto on Monday.

Sevastopol will make their trip to Algoma on Saturday for an 11 a.m. first pitch.
