Rowdy Tellez's two-run homer in the sixth inning would be all the scoring the Milwaukee Brewers would need in their 7-0 win over the Washington Nationals Friday night.
The Brewers would tack on another five insurance runs in the eighth inning with Hunter Renfroe singling home two runs and then coming around to score when Tyrone Taylor hit a three-run homer.
Eric Lauer did not need much help as he held the Nationals scoreless over seven innings, allowing just five hits while striking out five.
The two teams face each other again tomorrow.
