Rockers hold on to beat Mallards

The Green Bay Rockers continued their hot start to the season with a 5-2 win over the Madison Mallards Monday night.

The Rockers got on the board first with three runs in the fifth inning on Tristian Garcia double, a wild pitch, and a Kyle Schroedle single. The team would go on to add on a tally in the sixth inning and added an insurance run in the eighth inning when Glenn Miller singled in a run. The Mallards would score twice in the ninth inning for their only runs in the game.

The Rockers are back in action on Wednesday against Fond du Lac.
