Nine local athletes, including six from Kewaunee High School, were recognized by the Packerland Conference for their accomplishments on and off the field of play.
Packerland Conference Principals may also nominate scholar-athletes who meet additional criteria for the Packerland Conference Outstanding Achievement Award. Student-athletes, cheerleaders, pom/dance squad members, student trainers, and managers may be nominated. The nomination criteria are as follows:
- The scholar-athlete must have competed as a three-sport athlete for their junior and senior years (exceptions for major injury may be granted).
- The scholar-athlete must have earned a minimum of seven (7) athletic letters (exceptions for major injury may be granted).
- The scholar-athlete must have maintained a minimum 3.9 cumulative grade point average compiled in accordance with the WIAA Scholar-Athlete formula.
