Rockers topped by Woodchucks

The Green Bay Rockers fell to the Wausau Woodchucks on Tuesday 2-1 in Northwoods League action.  The two teams could only manage five hits combined in the game.  Taking a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning on a Griffin Stevens home run, the Rockers could not muster any more runs the rest of the way.  The Woodchucks would take the lead at 2-1 with a two-run seventh inning and coming away with the victory.  Logan Berrier went six strong innings for the Rockers, not allowing a run.  Wausau and Green Bay will battle again Wednesday evening at Athletic Field with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 pm.
