The West Jacksonport Ports held on for a 7-5 victory over the Washington Island Islanders on Sunday afternoon in Door County Baseball League action.
Both teams didn't score in the first inning, but the Ports struck first with 2 runs in the bottom of the second.
Islanders came back and scored a run in the top of the third. Followed up by three runs in the 4th inning to take a 4-2 lead.
Ports came back and scored 3 in the bottom of the 4th to retake the lead and make it a 5-4 game.
The Ports added two more runs in the 7th to make it a 7-2 game then the Islanders came back and scored a couple in the 5th to make it 7-5 which would end up being the final score to the game.
Both teams were able to move running around the bases but the Ports took advantage of a few loaded bases opportunities and were able to bring in a couple more runs to take this game.
