Second inning does in Rockers vs. Pit Spitters

The Green Bay Rockers saw the Traverse City Pit Spitters bat around in the second inning en route to a 7-2 road loss on Monday.

 

Ten batters came up to bat in the decisive inning with Trey Truitt delivering the big blow with a two-run homer. 

 

The two teams each got a tally in the fourth inning with the Rockers' Brendan Ryan driving in the run with a single. The Rockers would also score a run in the ninth inning when Owen Jackson drove in Tristin Garcia with a double.

 

Logan Berrier took the loss, giving up six runs over 1 2/3 innings.

 

The Rockers are back in action Tuesday night as they battle against the Lakeshore Chinooks on the road.
