Rockers' bats fall silent at Lakeshore

The Green Bay Rockers were limited offensively for the second night in a row as they lost to the Lakeshore Chinooks 9-1 in seven innings Tuesday night.

The Rockers were down 4-0 when they tallied their only run on a Brendan Ryan sacrifice fly. The inning also featured the only two hits for the Rockers on the evening. The Chinooks used three pitchers to stump the Rockers for seven innings, striking out five in the process.

Josh Johnson and Tony Livermore each had two RBI for the Chinooks.

The Rockers will try for the win Wednesday night when they finish the home and home series against the Chinooks at Capital Credit Union Park at 6:35 p.m.
