Egg Harbor hammers Institute 14-1 on 105.1 The Goat

The Egg Harbor Indians scored four runs in the second inning and never looked back in a 14-1 drubbing of the Institute Cubs Friday Night in Door County League action.

The visiting Indians added two more runs in the third inning on an RBI single by Anthony Moore and an error to increase the lead to 6-0.

Moore finished with three RBIs and Riley Spetz added two more to lead the Indian attack.

Egg Harbor salted the game away in the top of the seventh with six more runs.

Institute managed to pick up its lone run in the seventh inning on an RBI single by Ethan Kroll.

Starting pitcher Tyler Seibert went only two innings for the Indians and left the game due to an injury.  Alex Byrne came in to pitch three scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Will Hartman took the loss for the Cubs who drop to 2-6, while the Indians improve to 3-5 in the standings.

The next broadcast on 105.1 The Goat and New Radio Sports Network will be Sunday afternoon from Washington Island as the Islanders host the Baileys Harbor A's.  Quinn Stuck and Jacob Nate will have the call with the pregame starting at 1 pm and first pitch scheduled for 1:30 pm.
