The Green Bay Rockers got to within one but no closer as they lost to the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 4-2 Monday night.

The Dock Spiders put up a pair of runs in the second innings on an Evan Smith home run. They would tack on what was eventually the winning run in the fourth inning with a Cole Messina homer. 

The Rockers would cut the deficit to one a few innings later when Tristin Garcia slapped a two-run single. The threat was thwarted a half inning later when the Dock Spiders added an insurance run in the top half of the eighth inning on a Daylen Smith single.

Will Semb took the loss for the Rockers, pitching 5 1/3 innings while giving up three of the four runs and striking out six.
