The Wausau Woodchucks batted around in the second inning as they went on to beat the Green Bay Rockers Wednesday 8-3.
Carson Yates briefly tied the game for the Rockers with an RBI single, but two bases-loaded walks, an RBI single, and a wild pitch put the game away early for the Woodchucks. They would tack on runs in the third and fourth innings to put the game well out of reach before the Rockers would find the plate again.
The Rockers scored twice in the eighth inning on a Collier Cranford double and a Matt Scannell RBI single, but the Woodchucks shut the door from there.
