The Green Bay Rockers kept pace early with the Wausau Woodchucks, but eventually lost 11-6 in Ashwaubenon on Thursday.
The Rockers answered the Woodchucks two-run opening frame with three runs of their own in the bottom half thanks in part to a two-run homer by Matt Scannell. After the Rockers answered a two-run fourth inning by the Rockers with two runs of their own when Owen Jackson hit his own two-run homer. The Woodchucks would go on to outscore the Rockers 7-1 in the game's final three innings with Tristin Garcia's homer the lone bright spot.
The Rockers are back in action on Friday with a 6:35 p.m. home matchup against the Madison Mallards.
