The Institute Cubs will try to play the part of spoiler Friday night when they host the West Jacksonport Ports.

The Cubs took it on the chin late in their 11-3 loss to Washington Island after keeping the score close for much of the game. A win would give them their third victory of the season. 

The Ports dropped from their four-way tie for second place to a tie for fourth place after losing a hard-fought game to Sister Bay 4-2 last Sunday. A win would be their second in the last four weeks.

Tim Kowols and Paul Schmitt will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 7 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the first pitch at 7:30 p.m.

The Sunday slate includes Sister Bay visiting Washington Island, Egg Harbor hosting Kolberg, and Maplewood battling Baileys Harbor on 105.1 The GOAT. All Sunday games begin at 1:30 p.m.
