Thompson, Reynolds-Smith pace Run the Door standings

Local runners have been able to get a lot of races in as the Run the Door points begin to pile up.

Scott Thompson of Green Bay lead the men with 93 points and Susan Reynolds-Smith of Ephraim is pacing the women with 78 points. According to the Run the Door rules, point totals are through the Belgian Days 4M and 2M, and the Hairpin Run 5K, pending runners who couldn't get bibs but ran anyway. As a reminder, in races you get 10 points for finishing and an additional 3-2-1 for finishing first, second or third Overall and/or in your Age Group.

The Hairpin 5K in Fish Creek was won by Austin Molitor of Lockport, Ill., who just missed breaking 16 minutes with a time of 16:01.

At last weekend's Belgian Days Races, Markus Tassoul of Sturgeon Bay won the 2M with a time of 12:28. Sam Dean won the 4M distance with a time of 22:44.
