The Washington Island Islanders cannot afford any hiccups the rest of the way as they travel to Egg Harbor for their Sunday afternoon game.
The Islanders were engaged in a wild contest against Maplewood last weekend as they saw a 7-0 lead disappear before eventually winning the game 16-15 on a walk-off walk. They are tied with Sister Bay and West Jacksonport as all three look up at DCBL-leading Kolberg.
The Indians struggled to figure out pitcher Luke Steebs in their game last week as they lost to West Jacksonport 7-2. They sit ahead of Institute and Baileys Harbor in the DCBL standings.
Quinn Struck and Jacob Nate will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 1:00 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the first pitch at 1:30 p.m.
Other games going on Sunday afternoon include Kolberg visiting Institute, West Jacksonport playing at Maplewood, and Sister Bay hosting Baileys Harbor.
