The Green Bay Rockers came back from the All-Star break in a big way with an 11-4 victory over the Madison Mallards Thursday night.
Already up 2-1, the Rockers batted around in the second inning while scoring six runs. The Rockers had three RBI doubles in the inning before Keniel De Leon capped the scoring in the frame with a two-run homer. Tristin Garcia's at-bat yielded another two runs in the following inning after a wild pitch brought home one Rockers player and a single drove in the other.
Garcia led the way by going 4-5 with three RBI. De Leon had three hits while driving in a pair on the homer. Will Semb earned the victory, giving up all four runs on eight hits while striking out eight.
The Rockers are back in action Friday when they return the favor to the Mallards and travel to Madison.
