Brewers take down Rockies in extras

 It took awhile but the Milwaukee Brewers were able to scrape across the winning run in the 13th inning FItriday night to come away with the 6-5 victory.

 

It was homers early with the Rockies' Charlie Blackmon and the Brewers' WIlly Adames and Andrew McCutchen making it 3-2 Milwaukee after three innings. An RBI double tied the game for the Rockies in the sixth inning and scored twice in the tenth to put the Brewers in a corner. Hunter Renfroe saved the evening when he homered on a full count to tie the game back up at 5-5. The game go until the bottom of the 13th when Luis Urias slapped an RBI single to give the Brewers the extra inning victory.

 

The Brewers and the Rockies meet again Saturday night.
