Man City drenches Bayern Munich at Lambeau

Through two lightning delays, over 78,000 eventually got to see Manchester City deliver a 1-0 victory over Bayern Munich at Lambeau Field Saturday evening.

The two teams were warming up before the 6 p.m. kickoff when the first warning was released, pushing everyone into the locker rooms and concourse. The game was 12 minutes old when Erling Haaland scored his first goal for Manchester City with a sliding play on a cross by Jack Grealish. The game almost immediately went into a second, longer delay that pushed the game back further and limited the match to two-40 minute halves.

Manchester City dominated the match, outshooting their German rivals 22-3 and led them in corner kicks 10-1. Bayern's best chance came just minutes before Haaland's goal on a similar play, but it was ruled offsides.
